Following the Emerson Valley hand over from Milton Keynes Council to Milton Keynes Rugby Club on Friday 24th, it was centre stage for the 2nd and 3rds

Milton Keynes 1st XV having to travel to Crowthorne in Berkshire to play the next scheduled league game, this they did in some style.
Broadmoor were not the push over that the final score reflects, and they were much stronger than the team that visited Milton Keynes earlier in the season, it took 15 minutes before the visitors scored their first try, from prop Kieran McConnell, this followed with another from centre Andy Poole, both conversions missed and Milton Keynes moved in to double figures.

Broadmoor started to hit back and only some great defence kept them at bay, they finally scored a converted try and were growing in confidence. Milton Keynes pulled the socks up and worked their way back into the game with a try from Stuart Tomkinson, converted by Phil Powell from the touch line.

Both teams kickers had penalties in front of the posts, and both missed.
The half team whistle arrived and Milton Keynes were leading 17-7.

The second half was a complete transformation from the visitors, and within 2 minutes went into a purple patch to blitz Broadmoor in an 18 minute spell scoring 5 tries, the first from Stu Tomkinson scoring his second, next up was Dan Pearson, followed by Kieran McConnell bagging his second, next Rob Conway, and finished off by Rob Matthews, Phil Powell added 3 conversions out of 5 and the score rocketed to 48-7 to Milton Keynes.

While Milton Keynes were getting their breath back Broadmoor, to their credit hit back with 2 tries, 1 converted. With 10 minutes to play Milton Keynes retuned the same and scored 2 tries in return, first touch down by Dan Pearson to give him his second try, the 2 points added by Phil Powell, the second and final Milton Keynes try by Dave Matthews.

With the final whistle imminent, Broadmoor added the last score of the day with a try.

The final score to this very entertaining game, Broadmoor - 24, Milton Keynes - 60
