Milton Keynes RUFC travelled to Slough in the latest round of the Bucks, Berks and Oxon Premier league. On a wet and windy day and a heavy pitch MK played most of the rugby. Well constructed attacks and a solid defence saw MK run out winners 20-38 to earn them the number 1 position in the league. The first half saw tries from David Brown and Gareth Thomas with 1 converted by Brian Purcell, who also scored 3 penalties. The second half scoring saw Michael Dean, Gavin Whitehead and Brown with a try apiece, Purcell converting the Whitehead score. Slough answered with 2 converted tries of their own.
