The most incredible game of the season so far, Milton Keynes knew that they would have to be at their best to keep the winning run intact. Watching Reading Abbey warm up, it was obvious that the Abbey task was to level 6.
The game underway and Phil powellwas offered a penalty for off side, an easy kick for his normal standard, we are so used to the Milton Keynes star kicker slotting for woodwork, the travelling crowd were amazed when he missed, game continued ,on 15 minutes the Milton Keynes three quaters put a great interchange move together and Phil Powell, shot through the gap, but surprisingly missed his second kick.
Milton Keynes forwards were at their best with some great tackling and kept the visitors pinned on the defence, this paid of and Rob Lasbrey scoring almost copy book to the first try scoring the second try, Phil Powell missed again , but the score pushed on to 12—0 to the visitors
