The super 2s did it again as a team in the local Derby!!!

The 2nds welcomed back are inspirational leader (The ginger Whinger)!
This was derby day and the vast majority had put the work in Thursday night ready for battle.
MK started the game without a recognised hooker but this did not hinder the team as we have guys that step up to the mark every week. Mat playing all three positions in the front row whilst bulldozing through tackles like a man on a mission. Kieron took responsibility at lineout never letting the lads down whilst also having his best game for MK running good lines of the little General.
MK had their own 3 amigos ( well Zac’s)and it was Zach Manuel that opened the scoring with a typical rampaging run down the middle ignoring his slower and older support to score. Mk carried on again in the same aggressive manner hitting all their rucks until Bletchley gave away a penalty in range of the ever trusted boot of Brain Puccell. The pattern continued and next it was Frazer Cumming that broke through several tackles to score a try that his fantastic performance deserved.
With Owen Ledger demanding the pack around the park MK yet again got into the scoring zone, quick hands across the back line put Zak Maiden in the corner. Even three tries up and playing ok the standard’s we have set are selves this season there was still a bunch of grumpy guys demanding more.(not Fitz which was weird)
Just before half time Bletchley had a scrum 20 metres out and their impressive scrum half danced down the blind to score a try his performance deserved. The game became a bit scrappier in the second half and Bletchley ran in their second try to the shock of everyone one on the pitch as the ball was dropped over the line.
Bletchley were now on the front foot and gaining confidence but MK are a different beast this year they play as a team and fight for each other to a man the whole squad put their tackles in never gave up even when they went down to 14 for the last 10 minutes they just dug deeper and ran themselves into the ground.
